Hickenlooper has ruined fundraising for the Democrat frontrunner, Bill Ritter, and the far-left wing of the party was counting on him running. Holtzman, the Republican, polls 4 points ahead of Ritter according to the last Rasmussen poll. This race is looking better every day.

He'd have to take a pay cut to be guv. Plus, with all that traveling he wouldn't be able to keep tabs on all the illegal aliens working for him at the Cherry Cricket.

I'm really surprised. I really thought he was running.
A statewide, partisan race, however, would have been very different than the lovefest he's gotten in Denver.

Holtzman is a bomb thrower who will drag the repubs through the mud in the primaries and do most of the dims dirty work for them. Still, my money is on Beauprez. I have talked to his office quite a bit and he is a solid pro 2A conservative.
