:-)
I gave my feelings about the game a few posts back, and conceded the win to the Steelers though minus a TD. Some people won't grant the win, I have.
However, I am not sympathetic to the cracks of "sore loserman-itis" being made in the thread at all by some Steelers fans. Not coming from fans who's team had a player state the NFL conspired to give the Colts the win. Our players have said nothing of the kind about this game that I'm aware of, no matter what fans may or may not scream.
It just strikes me as...interesting...to hear SOME steelers fans mock Seattle fans for claiming a rigged game, when their own player did the same in an earlier playoff game.
I found it ridiculous when that statement was made at the time, I would find it ridiculous if a Seattle player made the same today. Fans can say whatever they want, they don't represent the teams officially, but there is no moral high ground here between Seahawk and Steeler fans. The attitudes are markedly similiar.
The Seahawk organization: Paul Allen, Coach Mike, the players and the rest of the organization is one class act - and I'm very proud of them. Most of the Seahawks fans are, too.
On a lighter note - did you see this from Tarantano on Best of the Web today
It Would Seem Not
"The White House is being way too quiet today, and the silence is eerie. . . . Security preparations for this Super Bowl are getting a lot less media coverage than the last 3 did. Which leads me to ask: is Karl Rove planning a terrorist attack during the Super Bowl, in order to set the stage for building towards war with Iran over the coming year?"--Bob Fertik, Democrats.com, Feb. 3
