My son had one ref that was an official in multiple sports. He called a penalty on my son's basketball team because he said that my son hung on the rim in warm ups. There were many worse calls than that, but that was the most ridiculous. They usually rule that a technical foul (with two freethrows). The kids from the indian schools here do that alot, aside from their run and gun offense.
Once when I was in high school, this one indian team had run up 82 team fouls, game ended up being forefeited after it was learned one of the players was 22 years old.

There should be a rule if a ref makes a bad call, his pay gets docked a certain amount of dollars.

That was a great pass...on a great trick play!

The Seahawks have been beating up the Steelers all afternoon. The Refs are giving the Steelers the game. You cannot deny that.

They have less to work with since Peyton's meltdown.

I am a steelers fan but still have to respect the birds. They didn't get here by dumb luck. Still plenty of time left for anything to happen. Back to biting my nails for now.

The Steelers had that exact call go against them twice this season (Indy and Colts regular season). I disagree with the rule and how it's been interpretted this year but at least they're consistent. You mean the Steelers aren't allowed to tackle below the waist previously? So you're saying that since there have been bad ref calls in the past the refs should job the Seahawks in the Super bowl?

You obviously have never played the game and my guess is you don't watch it much either. Jamming a guy in his chest is NEVER holding. NOT EVER!!!

This is THE WORST officiating I've seen in a really long time.

Summary:
Seahawks play half-way decent--but make to many mistakes to deserve to win.
Steelers play unimpressively.
Refs hand game to Steelers.
