I agree, I loved D.T. back then and was very saddened by his passing. I hope they vote him in next time around.
From what I read today in the KC Star, in the packet sent to the committee that votes on the nominees, there was a letter from Marcus Allen, as would be expected. But in the packet was also a letter from John Elway....this fact floored me considering how much DT placed Elway on his arse. But Elway basically said that DT could change a game in the blink of an eye and that you always, always had to know where he was on the field. I do believe he also compared him to the great LT.
I pray that he gets in next year as the longer they take, the less chance they have of making it.
