So what makes Buchanan think the Palestinians are entitled to an independent state? What would you do with millions of Palestinian Arabs?
Pat Buchanan has shown his true colors, and they are ugly.
Have a look: Hamas history tied to Israel

The Palestinians should either live under Israeli rule or move elsewhere. They lived under British and Turkish rule and never behaved like this. And the Israelis treat the Palestinians better than most Arab governments treat their own people. And as for the content of the article you linked, it was a divide-and-conquer strategy that backfired. It doesn't make the Hamas worthy of support.
I've defended Buchanan before on national sovereignty issues (you've read my postings) and I even voted for him in 1992. But this time he's gone too far.

Well, the opportunity to stop them from coming from their various Arab nations to murder Israeli children was missed. So...put them all in their own nation and bomb them to oblivion after they attack another nation.

I was waiting for someone to bring up with non-sequitor.
Israel was foolish enough to subsidize Dawah (public works, welfare...) by an organization spawned by the ?Muslim Brotherhood. The result was terrorism.
That is not a reasonable arguement to suggest that the world follow's Israel's past error.
