The Boston Globe seems to be one of those papers who regard it to be a copyright violation if Free Republic posts one of their stories. FR is obliged to remove such posts (and accompanying threads) to comply with the settlement of that old lawsuit.

Bummer. It was a very soul-satisfying story.
