Thanks for posting the symptoms of bad stroke. There are others, and they are subtle, if the stroke is a minor one. A weakness in one or both arms, one or both hands curling up into themselves. That one is my favorite(not!). A person who has had one might notice difficulty in swallowing pills, or actually chokes when swallowing, when there was no problem before. There can also be slight drooling from the side of one's mouth.
Almost forgot, check out the fingernails. They may be blue colored towards the nail bed.
All this talk about strokes reminds me of my Grandma, who died from one when I was nine. She was 80. Her name was Veronica, coincidentally the name of the saint whose feast day is today, Feb. 4th. God bless all the Veronicas of the world!
