I'm so sorry to hear that. I used to have a designation on my driver's license to be an organ donor. I had it removed when I got my license renewed a few weeks ago. I'm afraid that if something should happen to me before my husband or other family can get to me, that I'd already have the organs removed if I carried such a designation in my wallet. After learning more about the organ donation business, I think there are too many who are unethical about it. I'm sure it has become a profitable business.

Good! Same here. The incident was so frustrating that another member of the family ripped up her living will. It was on my in-law's side, so I had no input into the decisions. It was a bitter pill all around.

And, think of it this way. The transplant business is a big money maker. In addition, the transplant must take rejection drugs the rest of their lives. What a big payoff for the drug companies.
