Terri did get me to think about death and dying, and how I would never want to be forced to exit this earth the way Terri was made to go.
Wherever did Felos get the idea that Terri was dying? He completely made that one up out of thin air. Maybe it was when he was busy crashing his airplane just by thinking about it. There are those who frequent these forums who think Hammesfahr is a quack. Maybe he is, maybe he isn't. However, if those same people can't see that Felos was the biggest nutcase out there, I must say, I feel a bit sorry for them. They should be pointed in the direction of one of his books, Litigation as Spiritual Practice.
" Wherever did Felos get the idea that Terri was dying?"
Back in 2003, I read one his briefs. I have the thing saved some where, but will try and paraphase it. The loon stated Terri was terminal for the following reason. If her feeding tube was removed - she would die. I kid you not. I was outraged by his logic.
Even Felos would die if he were forbidden to have food or water. His insane form of double speak, was apparently accepted by the court. What does that say for the safety of anyone on this planet?
Apparently Felos and Greer weren't confident enough of Terri's non-ability to swallow, had she been allowed to do so. Case in point - Terri's brother and sister were banned from visiting her, during one of the previous times the court ordered the removal her feeding tube. The reason for the visitation ban - they brought in a jar of baby food to give to Terri, iirc.
psssst.. please ignore my grammer and spelling. :) :)
