Yes! Great move saying "radical Islam" instead of the narrower "militant Islam" or "terrorist Islam".
The best comparison you can make between both speeches was that you can easily almost all specific points and goals the President made, while the Dems response all I remember is "better way", "Virginia is the best governed state" and "something about an initiative with schools they're doing in Virginia which we should all copy"
The question is what percentage of the Islamic world adheres to "radical Islam", and if it's a large majority (as I fear), it's mainstream Islam, but still "radical" in terms of the rest of the world. Radical Islam is a redundant phrase.
