I'm about 80% on board....except for his abysmal "immigration" stance and crappy border security.
80% is pretty good. [I don't even agree with my husband all the time and I love him more than anyone on earth.]
I love this guy, too, but...my brain tells me he could man the veto threat a little more, and stand with folded arms before the sluttish congress and say: "No, this isn't quite right yet, cut a little more". Forget the line-item veto, just watch the whole thing bounce back and say: "Bill Frist: we're gonna need a funded budget. Could you keep them all a little later this week?". Brain also says anything spent in New Orleans is draining down a sinkhole. City below sea-level is a cup half-filled, or half-empty, but same difference to me and my own. It means my wallet is being emptied for welfarists.
