I was getting worried you wouldn't show.

Don't you love how Rove timed the Alito swearing in to coincide with the State of the Union Address;)

Another perfect Rovian Storm,(that's for PJ-Comix)

I am SO THANKFUl for the confirmation of Alito today, and the placement of Roberts last year. Likewise, the handling of the war.

As much as I hate the big government agenda of the GOP, the primary reason that Bush got my vote twice was SC appointments. I'm glad that he stuck to his promises, the Miers episode notwithstanding. Hopefully, something else good will happen between now and 2008 on the domestic side.

Maybe close the borders, enact the Fair Tax, abolish Socialist Security? Go GOP Go!

How can someone possibly get kicked off a thread which starts with - "It's a great day to be a Republican!!!!"

I think leftists across the planet are reaching for the black arm bands tonight. I wanna hear the crying phone calls on C-Span. I wanna watch the worthless RAT response. I wanna see the protesting pot bangers.

I need picture-in-picture-in-picture...

A great day, indeed, and one in which we must acknowledge with gratitude that perhaps Divine Providence has, once again, intervened in the affairs of this nation--as has occurred during many difficult times in its 200+-year history.

I have a few friends coming over in a bit for the State of the Union Drinking Game.

Here's a few of the rules - If you hear the word(s)

"freedom" - 1 drink

"Jack Abramoff" or any reference to the congressional corruption scandals or congressional "ethics" - one sip of the drink belonging to the person next to you

"fiscal discipline" - laugh out loud, then drink

Should be a rough hour. (Already told the boss I may have to adjust my hours a bit tomorrow)

Chris Matthews & Co. are still "stuck on stupid" with their 39% approval poll numbers, hallucinating that the President is in some kind of tar pit, and promoting a dull live blog event.

Zzzzzzzzzz...
