Mr Bush gets up in the morning and pulls his pants on just like you do. He is mortal. I trust him in most important matters but he has failed me on one or two. He is mortal. Just needs to be swayed from time to time.
It won't take another terrorist attack and thousands of dead Americans to "sway" me that he and the GOP leadership are selling our national security down the river, simply because they don't want to offend certain groups in the next election or because they want cheap labor.
You are right - he's mortal, although far from normal (chopping wood doesn't erase his wealthy upbringing and connections), and I don't even expect him to be all that bright, because I expect him to listen to the experts in regards to national security, and I have a hard time believing that his national security experts are okay with leaving the borders open, while stripsearching granny at the airport.

You've bought into the lie that he had a wealthy upbringing. You ought to go see his childhood house in Midland, Texas.
But whatever. You'll believe whatever fits your philosophy, facts be damned.
