CAIRO, Egypt (AP) -- Kidnapped U.S. journalist Jill Carroll has appeared in a new video on Al-Jazeera. In it, she's weeping and appealing for the release of women Iraqi prisoners.
Last week, five Iraqi women were freed from U.S. custody. U.S. officials said the release had nothing to do with the demands by Carroll's kidnappers that the U.S. release Iraqi women.
No sound was aired with the video. But Al-Jazeera said she appealed for the release of women Iraqi prisoners.
She's visibly crying in the video, and is wearing a conservative Islamic veil.
Wow, I hadn't realized the ratio was that low. But have the Muslims ever threatened to kill anyone by a certain time and then not done it as scheduled?
Another really suspicious thing is the demand itself: Muslim society is not known for being partial to women.
Holy kharma hangs in the balance.
Let's hope for the best......
Michael Savage apparently thinks the story is genuine...I still think it's a fake...Robert K. Dornan sat in tonight for him (I don't listen to Savage Nation every night)...Dornan played a clip of Savage's reaction to the SOTU...
I'm surprised; Savage is usually more cynical than I am.
Why do freepers always have to believe the worst of people?
Jill is an honest, brave woman. She wrote without bias. She would never be involved in something so low.
Thank goodness I'm not the only one.
I was sure she would be OK.Now look ...what a shocker , her friends let her go.
