Actress Sharon Stone has slammed the US saying that it is not doing enough to help those suffering from AIDS. Stone is disgusted by the lack of support for even American victims of the disease and condemns the US for dismissing the disease as an African problem only, contactmusic.com reported. She says: “There is this feeling that AIDS has gone away and it hasn’t. In downtown Los Angeles there are two whole streets of homeless people with AIDS who have no access to drugs. A child dies of AIDS every minute, and they’re not all in Africa.”
I need to hear what Bono has to say first.
Sharon - if you don't want to get AIDS, just keep your legs crossed.
Then don't spread it, Sharon (wow--an obscure double entendre!).

I mean, really... Is she thinking of contracting the disease in order to bring new awareness of the disease here at home?
Perhaps she'll donate her personal fortune to the cause...
Or maybe she'll grand stand and make speeches.
Bush has done more to help the fight against AIDS than Clinton ever did. I don't remember Hollywood complaining much back then.
She is probably loking for little peewee clintooon.
How about the fact that all the victims ignore abstinence as a 100% guarantee that this plaugue goes away in one generation?
It is spread purely by behavior. Nothing else. And all the money and policy positions in the world can't stop it if people have no personal responsibility.
Then again, considering the populations most affected by this, perhaps accountability for one's actions is WAY too much to expect. So blame government, and blame Bush.

Wonder if she'll use her notoriety to speak against open borders, terrorism, socialism?
Oh, I think there's plenty being done, dear. Plenty. How about you go to work on those who give and receive it? It seems that plenty of them are ignoring it, too.
