RI has a Republican governor, it's not such a wild idea.
Chaffee has sat on his assets and there he is. The trouble is, he thinks that he can continue to do so.
So, does Maine, but that doesn't mean anything. Maine is actually socialist. The Republican govenors don't seem to have any effect on the state legislatures. I actually thing that Snowe's husband was a govenor of Maine.
