Rep. Walter Jones is urging congressional leaders to create tougher regulations to curtail the influx of illegal immigrants into the United States.

Jones said federal officials are not doing enough to prevent illegals from entering the country. They cost taxpayers an enormous amount of money each year and can pose a danger to national security, he added.

I heard and read about how employers say they cannot verify citizenship. This is so much trash they talk. People do not want to enforce the law because they are afraid of being called racist. Being opposed to illegal immigration is not being opposed to legal immigration. It is not racism it is obeying the law. This idea that you do not want illegal immigration is being racist is a way to scare good people. This is also so much crap.

It is easy to get real ID and prove citizenship. It is easy to check it out. I have seen the fake "ID" of an obvious illegal immigrant and I could tell that it was fake ID because it was so much cheaply made. Date was less than three months, picture had wrong background and the plastic lamination was so cheap and sticky -not heat sealed - and it was starting to peal off.

Not all bosses hire illegals as a preference. We need to make it harder to copy and make fake IDs and make it harder on those who employ illegal immigrants.

Why do we call them 'undocumented citizens?' They broke the law to come here. So many people work and wait so long to come here legally and the illegal immigrants just go right up to the head of the line it is wrong. Illegal Immigrants are unfair to those who work through the system.

And again... *PING!*

Seems like some are either beginning to read the tea-leaves and try to get out in front of the issue of Illegal Immigration...or else we are seeing a separation of the chaff (RNC do-nothing OBL-ers) and the wheat (those who believe in the US and it's laws!)!

I'd vote for Jones, but I'm stuck with Jane Harman. Check out her recent immigration report card (grade F minus) at:

Yes, I always vote against her, but the OBL is mighty strong here in Mexifornia.
