"How anyone can dismiss the danger these folks are in by being there, based solely on their occupation or political affiliation just stuns me."

Neets, I understand where You are coming from. I mean, these are human beings we are talking about; one a father of four children and the other a father of three.

Regardless of their unfortunate political leaning toward the left, I still feel badly about these two guys being injured and hope they recover fully. That is not to say that I've forgotten about our troops of course.

One of my gues deployed in DEC for a research project of his.

When he came back this month, he told me he was there for 25 days; saw 20 soldiers killed in those 25 days.

This is a Major who was in the first Iraq war.

I never forget any of them.
