Ah, yet another good analogy. Perhaps the coaches should compare game plans and strategies and play the Superbowl on the chalkboard rather than contest it on the field. And the viewing audience can vote for the winner ala American Idol. It's the "market place of ideas", the "conservative way", "positive discourse", and so on and so forth dontcha know.

The left won't enter the Arena of Ideas because there is no justification for seeding the hearts of our wounded soldiers with the added emotional torment depression and despair.
They hope to win by default when no one stands to prevent from doing so.
