I saw a few signs yesterday in Claremont, Ca. They read
"WE LOVE OUR TROOPS, BRING THEM HOME"
I wanted to stop and ask, "From where? Korea? Germany? Japan?" Etc.

So if they didn't want their photos taken, why were they PROTESTING out in PUBLIC in the first place? I thought the object of protesting was to draw attention. Scheesh, the stupidity of it all is, is, is just beyond me ...

Understood, that's why I encouraged them to call the police and whine to them, "She's lookin' at me!"
In all seriousness, I went down there alone just to take photos, like I had last week when I went down to the same spot. I didn't take a sign with me and I didn't yell at them last week or this week. When they started yelling across the street at me last night, I didn't respond. It was just me and my camera.
I purposely didn't bring anyone else with me, so I could quietly take photos and not "disturb" the Moonbats in their habitat.
If they hadn't made such a scene last night, I would have been able to take my photos in two or three minutes and been gone.
But they were still smarting from losing their prime real estate the week before, and they were itching to cause trouble. So much so, that when I stepped off of the sidewalk onto the street, they continued to harass me. Their permit covers the sidewalk but not the street, so I was no longer in their disputed territory.

Please remove me from this ping list. I only get frustrated when I read these silly threads. What a hollow victory. Look at what losers these Code Pinkos are! And DC FReepers think it's such a huge victory and such great fun to go out and aggravate them (and thereby feed their twisted, martyr-complex-ego needs in the process.)
Sure, supporting the troops is important, but don't conservatives believe in taking the high road anymore?
I think conservatives should expend their energies engaging in reasoned discourse in the marketplace of ideas, not engaging in a bazaar of 60's-style street theatre of the absurd and militant tactics . . . against big, fat, old, irrelevant losers. Conservatives should stand for ideas, values and principles, (like the annual March for Life,) not against this or that puny, insignificant group of radicals. Why? Because, over time, developing an addiction to such fringe behavior, and being negatively motivated (embarrass the other; make them look bad; shout them down; intimidate them; stay on the street corner 10 minutes longer than they do, Friday night after Friday night, etc.) warps the individual.
You're only affirming them by reacting to them, and feeding their need to be noticed. In the process, you may become like them.

TPT

You want to borrow my ladder? :'):-)
Around my house the step stool is my friend. I've hit that point in my life where I've begun to shrink. My grandmother was around 4'-6" tall when she died at 102 years old.

It's the first time in weeks that I haven't had the video camera with me. Murphy's Law - when you don't have it with you, that's when you need it. And it doesn't matter what the "it" is. When he saw the flock of Moonbats, omebody did come down with his video camera and take some footage. It will be interesting to see.

Wilcox told me she did call the police. "Some kind of violence may break out" due to our proximity and confrontational attitude. Yeah, right, Ann. One person with a camera, 60 feet away from your protest, was such a confrontational and threatening move.
