funny, too bad he cant do that all the time. Normally he is pretty drab.

For a WH spokesman, "drab" is pretty much what you want. That way, a shift from "drab" like this really makes an impression.

Great response, but I doubt that it was spontaneous.

Somebody saw that question coming.

A staffer probably came up with the response in the prep meeting, just in case somebody asked the question.
