Not surprising of Michigan. Gov. Granholm(D) gave her state of the state address the other day proclaiming Michigan will be the epicenter of technology. (oh guv, Michigan ranks #1 in unemployment of the 50 states and that was before the Ford pink slips)

Actually, the zeros are very interesting. These are candidates trying to straddle money vs votes and this is a risk as the Dems came off looking so incredibly bad.

There should be another column: not committed to yea or nay, but committed to ending debate and voting.
Mary Landreiu belongs in that column, as does Harry Reid.

Specter says he has enough to thwart a filibuster. This is just what cspan.com has listed. Their TV list shows it 55-32 and obviously Arlen has it 60-32 or better.

Fox news just had a screen scroll that Reid would support a filibuster.

I just heard on the news at the top of the hour that the dems were filibustering. Is this true?

Didn't I just see Reid saying he would support a filibuster, although he didn't think it could be sustained?

We have 5 Dems who openly state that they oppose the judicial filibuster. There are 44 of them minus 5 leaves 39

"What's the deal with Stevens?"
Good question. When I first noticed 52 GOP yes, I assumed Snowe, Chaffee and Collins were the culprits. I think Stevens is still PO'd about his bridge.
