My 02 RAM has 80,000 miles and not single mechanical problem. I've bought new tires and that's it.

Then you got a good one! I had to replace my steering column bearing 3x, power steering pump 1x, brake master 1x, align it 4x (it still pulls), AC compressor 1x, and alternator 1x.
Oh, and that was all in the first 6 months I had it.
And I bought it brand new from Daytona Dodge. Some of the items were warrantied, however even with those problems they never offered to replace it or even provide a loaner. Tried lemon law; the mediator was a pal of the sales manager, so that went south right from the start. It had less than 1k miles, it only has 44k now and it's a 1999. I would never buy another Dodge. I would get a Ford or Chevy however, depending on the vehicle.
