Anyway, he's a pretty clear YES with that "I intend to vote for Alito."
Do you know how far away we are from forcing cloture if Kerry filibusters? He may do it because he realizes it won't work anyway. In the DUmmies minds, he will have at least tried.
I also like Byrd, and he OFTEN "surprises" those who lump him in with Kennedy and the others, especially on judicial nominees.
Didn't he vote for Justice Brown for the appeals court?
