Sorry if this has been asked before, but does anyone know what's wrong with Sen Ten Stevens? I know he got very angry at some senators about a month ago, but why is he stalling on this Alito vote? Is he mad at the President?
There's no vote even scheduled yet. C-SPAN2 is running an unofficial tally of pre-vote statements by Senators.
Stevens isn't "holding out" anything, or stalling even. He'll vote to confirm.
