I wonder if American citizens will finally rise up when the D.C. parasites try to dump all the pensions and medical plans on the taxpayers?

Just because corrupt union thugs bought off corrupt Republican and democRat thugs doesn't mean we have to pay for it.

as a person married to someone who lost all his normal pension and retirement medical benefits via a nice and tidy "bankruptcy",and thus never allowing us to retire at a decent age, I resent being seen as someone who "dumped" anything on the taxpayer....

my hubby's company was able to do what they did with the absolute approval of govt officails and nobody wept for us......infact, I think various govt officials paved the way for people like us to get the shaft....

Unfortunately, we have Ms. Granholm in charge of MI, and her state of the State address last night left little to the imagination. Seemed like every other sentence was either placing blame on "unfair federal trade agreements" or to suggest "better solutions to the healthcare problem" were needed at the national level. Hopefully we'll see her blatant collectivism rejected at the state level in Novemeber, as well consistency on the issue in the current Administration.

American citizens don't seem to be the rising up kind.
