The US military has long been a way for immigrants to join America. Think of all the Lodge-Act Veterans who came in that way. Many of us came in this way.
I only wish she had met an Army recruiter instead.(ha ha)
Serious, military service is a legal way for immigrants to earn their citizenship and show people that they love the USA.
I met an Army recruiter a long time ago and it changed everything for the better for me.
