They will not put the dog to sleep. They specifically noted that there was no intent on the part of the dog. It was a freak accident.
The dog was left at the local shelter though. Wonder what it's chances are now of a finding a home? Goldens are great dogs.

Agreed. Read my post respnse here on this topic. Some folks on this planet just don't get it. Before long, some idiots will want to ban dogs!
