Its hilarious. Each of the 'rats has a checklist of special interest groups they need to pander to. I guess the trail lawyers who specialize in asbestos litigation want their money's worth for the "campaign contributions."
They had a blurb on the c-span ticker a little while ago...that said that Frist denied the democrats request to postpone the action on the asbestos ligitation, in order to start debate and legislation on the "lobbying scandal"...
Which might also explain why McCain felt he had to get up this morning and act like lobbying reform is THE MOST important matter that Congress needs to deal with right now...blech
