Everything alive right now is a transitional species; but that might be over your head. No ill humour intended either. I think Creationist types need to realize that there are many of us conservatives who believe that evolution (or its basic idea) is fact. We are not stupid people, we are not immoral people. Just the fact that we are conservative should be enough about our character that anyone needs to know. I think most of us believe in God just like you do too. With all this said, I've never seen one of us use name calling against you guys like a lot of you do to us. We're all on the same side here.

First off, I think I'm going to save this post of yours on my desktop and ping you when one you evolutionists attacks and demeans one of us or when they admit that they don't believe in God.

Secondly, to disagree means we're diametrically opposed on this issue and on separate camps.

No name calling- if anything, we are more maligned than evolutionists.

But Jesus put it this way- "My sheep know my voice."
We just see Him in everything. He's called the "Author of Life"- He actually wrote our genome. With a wave of His hand (if it would take that much effort on His part), he could call up a 4d hologram of your genome, and rattle off your base pairs from memory. Jesus tried to express this to people by saying- "The very hairs on your heads are numbered." -Something that boggled their minds back then. Today, we could say that God knows the momentum and position of every particle in the universe.

Madman, I don't think conservatives who choose to believe the theory(?) of evolution are necessarily stupid or immoral....exactly. It may be more a case in which they allow themselves to be "taken in", as it were, by mouthy academics who are determined to make their "bandaided" theory work in order to "cut God off at the knees". When you do this, you are saying, in effect, that you trust this mouthy academic more than you trust God and the account of creation He presents in Book of Genesis. You are ascribing a higher level of confidence to the flim flam theory of evolution and its apostles and you are
accusing God of lying. I wouldn't want to place myself in that position based on the flimsy story the evolutionists have to offer.

Actually, no you are not. Conservatism is anchored in rationality. Liberals reject reality in spite of the facts. ID'ers have MUCH more in common with liberals than conservatives - because they hold their conservative beliefs not due to a rational thought-out philosophy - but because of a fear of betraying their belief system.
ID'ers are just liberals with a different bent.

There is much room for alternate explanations of the evidence. What we are currently witnessing is a large segment of the scientific community feeling the freedom to lay their ideas on the table. Previously, the liberal element of Academia censored the free thought in the Hard Sciences because the information affected the information they wish to indoctrinate.

What we are seeing is a schism between Liberal Academia and the more conservative "Hard Sciences". As the momentum continues we will see much more extensive research being spent evaluating the evidence from a Design perspective. The Book stores are becoming full of Intelligent Design best sellers, which in a free market translates to money for future R&D and a more sophisticated presentation of the supporting science.

Exciting times we are living in.
