Why should you care, Atheist? By your own professed belief, you are no better than a dog or a hog that goes "poof" when it dies. Why should you care whether atheists "get a bad name?" (I was an atheist as a student, but outgrew that silliness, by the grace of God.)

Your statement tells me you are a very bad person. Before you "outgrew that silliness," you're telling us you didn't care about your fellow man, yourself, life in general, or doing anything good on earth?

I read the statement and started to say something to the poster, but after reading it a few times, I don't think it was meant in the way that it came off. I think (and hopefully the poster will correct me if I am wrong), the poster didn't mean it in a belittling way, just pointing out that we would be the no different in terms of reason for living, value etc. than the animals mentioned.
