As preachy as Left Wing was, it was worthwhile watching at times. Particulary the series of episodes with a Repubican John Goodman as Acting President. "If Zoey Bartlett is harmed, I'm going to bomb the hell out of something."
I agree! There were no qualms whatsoever about touting ultra liberal propaganda either. One episode a Lib was fighting with a Republican over sex ed in school. The Lib asked the Republican if he would prefer children grew up to be of high moral character and have values, OR to be scientists and doctors and such. The Republican said "I's frankly, rather they had both" It was priceless, and rang sooooooooo true!! Only reason I watched was to see how the left operates, since libs write the show. You could see libs in action, hypocrisy and all.
I loved John Goodman in that roll... too bad Bartlett came back and they removed him from the scene; I suspect the ratings would have risen if he'd remained on the show. Is Goodman a closet conservative?
