Well, a lot of people have forgotten about Adlai Stevenson. Kerry aims to remind them.
From Wikpedia:
"Adlai Ewing Stevenson II (February 5, 1900 July 14, 1965) was an American politician and statesman, noted for his skill in debate and oratory. He was twice an unsuccessful candidate for President of the United States (1952 and 1956)."
And, may I add, a democrat.
On our local FM Talk station a caller claimed that Kerry was rarin' to go for another run, but no one in the DNC wants him to run!
I would sooner vote for Adlai Stevenson as he is than John Kerry today
Very much so. Both Kerry and Stevenson were arrogant, aloof, found campaigning to be beneath them, but a necessary evil to get the rubes and bumpkins to vote for them.
Gary Williams is FNCs Power Player of the Week --University of Md basketball coach --- a really good guy and nice segment by Chris Wallace!
I am bewildered that you would equate Adlai Stevenson with John Kerry.
Stevenson had no background as a traitor that I can recall.
