At a time when we're bombarded with so much doom-and-gloom nonsense from those who'd like to abandon the world to terrorists, it's a shame we don't hear more about the men and women who stay in uniform, who do our nation's toughest work and receive so little credit from the know-it-alls safe at home.

I love articles which praise our military, don't you! :)
Enjoy!
Do you have working login info? The couple I tried from bugmenot are not working.
No I don't, sorry.
It's free to sign up and the NY Post is a very good newspaper.
What do you want people to do, that isn't already being done?
What?
It said those in uniform, receive so little credit from the know-it-alls safe at home. I was wondering what is expected?
......what is expected ?
respect and acknowledgment that the war on terror is a just war,not a conspiracy.
new york is an ungrateful city.
Many of us here on FR have a deep sense of gratitude for those risking their lives serving in our military.
Many on FR have loved ones currently serving in the military or did serve in our military.
We all must decide for ourselves "what is expected"
I choose to support our president and our troops.
It's individuals that show respect, not cities.
While there may be many that are against the war, and do not support the president, I don't think you will find very many people anywhere, that do not support the troops. The military is made up of men and women that come from families that are of all the political parties.
"Harvard and Yale? Keep 'em. The finest Americans are those who have gone through the School of the Soldier(Sailor, Airman & Marine). A "broken military"? Nope. Anyway, if it was broken, the combat engineers would fix it. Under fire."
Excellent piece!
Thanks for posting!

I think they are very much in the minority. I can only speak for those that I know personally, but I have yet to find anyone, liberal, conservative or anything, that does not support our troops...they may not agree with the war, or the president, but no one wants anything bad for our troops.
