Acts 4:32
I don't believe they meant the government took it from them and there is no indication they sold their property against their will.
Christians, I would assume, are free to sell their property to help others if they so desire.
Further, the Bible says that if a man won't work, than neither shall he eat.
Acts 4:32
It is absolutely clear that the surrender of property was purely voluntary.
Acts 4:32 : "32 All the believers were one in heart and mind. No one claimed that any of his possessions was his own, but they shared everything they had.
This is NOT socialism in the normal use of the word today. Jesus said "give to the poor". He did NOT say "take from your neighbor and give that to the poor".
You said in your #186 that Christianity has "strong elements of socialism". Can you cite any "elements" that are "stronger" than this?
