There is no rational basis for believing in a supernatural being whether that being be called God, Allah or Zeus; having said that, politics is the public life that subsumes the private life and in society image is always important.
The notion of an atheist community is no more rational than that of organized anarchy since neither requires adherence to a written dogma or ritual practice.
The true conservative is simply unwilling to abandon what history has shown to be workable while the zealot is determined to change the entire world for his own pleasure.
At this current juncture, so much has already been compromised that I'm not sure what we have left to conserve.
Maybe I'll just let Zeus sort it out.

With human logic..no I guess there isn't
With faith and God's word and the Holy Spirit, it is one step at a time
Even the disciples that walked with Jesus at times I think questioned who this man really was and if they really had faith.
It is in the human nature in my opinion to think "How can I grasp this..I can't even see it" BUT that's is when Gods spirit whispers "I am not your imagination and am here with you" Regardless as I stated above, anyone who stands for our country and what is true and just I consider a blessing to know regardless of their faith
