There is a show on the History Channel about a professional military company called Executive Outcomes.
All about how a group of 100 guys stopped a revolt in some aweful African country. Then the UN threw them out and took over. They sent around 18,000 troops. Within a year and a half, the UN was forced out by the same group of defeated rebels.
