Sen. Clinton slams Bush administration

NEW YORK - Sen. Hillary Clinton on Monday blasted the Bush administration as “one of the worst” in U.S. history and compared the Republican-controlled House of Representatives to a plantation where dissenting voices are squelched.

Speaking during a Martin Luther King Jr. Day event, Clinton also offered an apology to a group of Hurricane Katrina survivors “on behalf of a government that left you behind, that turned its back on you.”

Her remarks were met with thunderous applause by a mostly black audience at the Canaan Baptist Church of Christ in Harlem.

The House “has been run like a plantation, and you know what I’m talking about,” said Clinton, D-N.Y. “It has been run in a way so that nobody with a contrary view has had a chance to present legislation, to make an argument, to be heard.”

“We have a culture of corruption, we have cronyism, we have incompetence,” she said. “I predict to you that this administration will go down in history as one of the worst that has ever governed our country.”

A spokeswoman for the White House declined to comment and referred questions to the Republican National Committee.

1) Sold seats on trade missions to campaign contributors.
2) Rented out the Lincoln Bedroom.
3) Had felons as business partners.
4) Stole $100,000 in cattle futures.
5) Masturbated in George Stephanopoulos' sink.
6) Had hundreds of his associates take the Fifth Amendment or flee the U.S. to avoid testifying.
7) Pardoned child molestors, terrorists, drug dealers and international criminals.
8) Kept a condom-decorated Christmas Tree.
9) Engaged in "phone sex" over 50 times on a non-secure line.
10) Received Holy Communion although not a Catholic.
11) Kept dozens of flights delayed while he gets a $150 Christof haircut.
12) Sodomized an employee with a cigar.
13) Perjured himself before a Federal Judge.
14) Hired a soon-to-be felon as Assistant Attorney General.
15) Bilked American Indian tribes out of hundreds of thousands in campaign cash.
16) Tried to have a campaign donor buried at Arlington although not a veteran.
17) Bit a woman's lip while raping her.
18) Fondled an employee at a time of personal crisis.
19) Passed classified missile technology to Communist China.
20) Took donations from gun runners and drug smugglers.
21) Lied to the American people on TV.
22) Suborned perjury of witnesses in a Civil damage trial in which he was a defendant.
23) Simultaneously ate pizza and discussed troop deployments while being serviced by a White House intern.
24) Hired White House staff who were unable to pass a security check.
25) Tried to fire and prosecute White House Travel Office employees in favor of cronies.
26) Happened to possess the confidential FBI files of political opponents.
27) Gave a state job to his mistress at the expense of a deserving black woman.
28) Was disbarred by federal and state courts.
29) Cheated at golf.

I thought Hillary was part of the government - couldn't she do something or is it just the Republican Party that must do the heavy lifting?

Hillary is sooooooooooooo transparent in her efforts to deep-six this country; her solutions are flavor of the day - what you want to hear. A Marxist approach of deliberately dumbing down the America she so loves to hit every chance she gets and MLK was just another platform for her egregious and mendacious insults, worse yet because we are fighting terrorism - something she and Bill wouldn't face, even to protect the nation.
