Question to both of you! How's the weather been? We are having an embarassment of riches...if that's what you can call rain, rain, rain...but I think that's STILL better than no rain.
You can always try to get up on higher ground...but you can't get away from fires and sandstorms!!!
It has been sunny and mild the last few days - highs around 60. Much better than last winter which was cold and wet.
It's rainy season now, too, so we get a good rainstorm every few days, but NOTHING like what you're getting!
We're enjoying the weather now, because the summers can be brutal. ;-)

Very dry...but the temps are in the 60's...
There is supposed to be rain in the area tomorrow...but, more East of where I live...but, we can always hope that the weather pattern will change...which will rid you of your rain...and send it to us!
I was shocked a few years ago..when my family was just sitting around...someone asked what each of us thought would be the ultimate in "daily luxury"...
I answered having a masseuse available 24/7...for when ever I wanted a massage...heaven...
But, my son, who is 27, answered that he would love to have a brand new pair of socks every day...
I still haven't figured it out...but the next Christmas I gave him a box with about 3-4 dozen pairs of socks...

Helos can be shot down with RPG's. It has been done in the past. Just because someone identified a rocket, doesn't mean it's a Stinger or SA-7 (russian).
One of the problems is the amount of people/traffic that are going about their day.
