OAK PARK HEIGHTS, Minn. -- He posed as a prospective student and tried to pass himself off as a member of a royal family from Europe -- until some student journalists uncovered his past.
Police said "Caspian" visited Stillwater Area High School in Minnesota three times. He told students he was 17 and that he was "Caspian James Chrichton Stuart the Fourth," the "Fifth Duke of Cleveland."
At the school newspaper, student journalists thought that if "Caspian's" story were true, it would make an interesting feature. They eventually found his picture on a Web site -- for Florida's registry of sex offenders. (Click here to see his sex offender flyer.)
KARE-TV reported that it turned out he was 22-year-old Joshua Adam Gardner, who was convicted of fourth-degree criminal sexual conduct in Winona County in 2003. He's now being held on a probation violation.
Stillwater Principal Chris Lennox said there's no indication that Gardner assaulted or seriously bothered anyone at the school

Let's see. It says the crime was committed in 2003. The flyer says that it was with a minor. That would make him somewhere around 20 at the time of the crime, with someone younger than 18, but we don't know how much younger. I hope that he broke his probation by going onto the school campus, and that he can be incarcerated for a bit longer. He's going to be a repeat offender if he's already at it again. It'd be best to just go ahead and lock him right back up.

Hmmm . . . Barbara Palmer, Duchess of Cleveland, was a hussy.
Not drawing any conclusions, just noting an interesting titular similarity.
Of course, Barbara really WAS Duchess of Cleveland . . . she didn't make up the title to lure unsuspecting children to her bedroom.

I read a biography of Nell Gwyn last week that asserted that Charles II lost his big black spiral-perm mop four or five years into his reign, and most likely what we're seeing is him with a wig.
I was sad to hear that . . . next thing you know, they'll be telling us Chuck didn't rock a mullet in his teen years.

And I noticed his perv card said the victim was a minor, but the victim's gender is "unknown". What's up with that? You can't know someone is a minor and not know their gender.
Being evasive like that makes me think the victim was a boy. Is political correctness making it so that such a crime against a boy would be hidden, but against a girl would be advertised?
We can't know for sure because the victim's gender was "unknown".
From his perv card:
Victim(s): Gender: Unknown ; Minor? Yes

I notice her staff is significantly longer than Stuart's. It's no wonder she was a hussy.

I noticed that, too. To me it seems like they should put a lot more info on those cards.

I have never heard of a "criminal google background search", but maybe it should be required nowadays. At least some students were on the ball. Of course the kid could be a sex offender if he had sex with a younger girlfriend who freaked after her folks found out.
