Wasn't there an actor that was killed with one of these kind of guns? If it shoots anything, it must be considered a lethal weapon.

That was Brandon Lee, son of Bruce Lee. He was killed with a real gun that was supposed to contain blanks. Instead, someone substituited real bullets for the blanks.

Pellet guns kill, too. How'd you like to get shot in the eye or the brain at close range with a pellet gun? Some of that ammo can do some real damage and it's meant to.
