Laura made a public fool of herself during the Miers debate. Normally, I admire her, but she really damaged herself when she was put forward on TV to call anyone who opposed Miers bigots and sexists.
Having done that once, she should avoid this kind of foolish remark, especially with hillary in the race.

Contributing to the Miers nomination, then making statements that truly offended many of us certainly turned me off.
One might think that making a public fool of herself during the Miers debate would teach her to think before making anymore public thoughts on these "women's subjects".
It's hard to believe that this is the same First Lady I so much admired some years ago.
