If anyone knows the date of that episode of Meet the Press, I'd like to know...I believe it was Spring 2005? Then later Kerry said he had signed it but had not faxed it to the military?

Yes, he signed it but only for the one person/author who wrote a favorable book for him (stolen valor, I think). So in effect, NO he didn't sign it for those of us that would report the facts straight forward, but did sign it so he could say that he did sign it.
