Could a conservative victory herald the repeal of the speech hate-crime laws. Will it be OK to believe in your religion in Canada, again?

Well I'm glad you asked! In the middle of the recent leader's debate, Paul Martin dropped a bombshell that he intends to REMOVE the Notwithstanding Clause from our Charter of Rights.

In a nutshell, this means that if an activist judge decided to rule against a priest for refusing to marry a same-sex couple, or perhaps allow polygamy - the (liberal appointed) judge would have the final say. Our elected parliament body would have NO WAY to challenge or over-turn the ruling.

In other news, the Liberal Party of Canada has officially changed it's name to The Liberal-Communist Party of Canada.
