I see that the opposition comes from people who do NOT know Alito, and also from those who are making money by inventing hysterical charges against him and President Bush.

In fact, the anti-alito witnesses are actually testifying that they are more believable because they don't know him, suggesting that anybody who has worked with Alito would obviously say nice things about him.

I callled Bill Bennett's show this morning and made that point. The pro-Alito witnesses actually know him, the Dem side is just a 'round up the usual suspects' potpourri of totally fungible grievance twits.
