Crist is pro-life in a "I'm a hard core social conservative but not like a Bible thumper or anything right wing or scary or dogmatic" kind of way, Gallagher is kind of pro-abortion but in a "vote for me because I'm a pro-life pro-family social conservative" kind of way.
They have been playing a strange game of leapfrog, each trying to run to the right AND left of the other -- from what I can tell.
AFAIK they're both 'officially' pro-life but realistically somewhere in the wide spectrum between Jeb and Toni, with Crist a bit further right.
Well, Crist manages to talk about all sorts of things in the "family values" section of his campaign website, but is silent on abortion and the right to life: http://www.charliecrist.com/issues/issues.aspx
And I don't recall Attorney General Crist doing much to save Terri Schiavo.
And Gallagher seems to be implying that he is pro-life in his campaign website, but the language is vague enough that he could wiggle out of it (like Doug Forrester did in NJ):
Protecting our Most Vulnerable Citizens
Part of building strong families and a civil society is working as a community to protect the most vulnerable. A humane and just culture must recognize the dignity of all innocent life as something worth protecting and encouraging. A culture will not be remembered so much by what it builds but by how it protects those who are most in need.

Frankly, I wish they would just up and say where they stand. It's Florida, not Vermont, and they could say they are pro-life without getting pilloried by the voters.
