Let's just say that if you think Harris is too liberal for you, Foley will make Harris look like Jesse Helms. Foley might have appeal to Democrats and Independents, but he just doesn't have a whole lot of appeal to Republicans and Conservatives (outside of the Light-in-the-Loafers and Sugarplum Faerie factions of the GOP). One Lindsey Graham in the Senate is one too many.
It seems that Lindsey Graham's stand in the Senate has enabled the country to have Judge Roberts on the Supreme Court, and soon to be followed by Justice Alito.
He now seems pretty crafty.
