Katherine Harris is an amazingly ambitious and driven personality .

She has won seven consecutive elections in her political career !
She has been dissuaded in her attempts for U.S. Senate before - she bowed out because Dubya asked her not to run for the Senate seat that Mel Martinez now holds .

Maybe she should have gone for the seat then, maybe not .

I made another donation to her campaign earlier this Thursday morning .
I personally took the letter to the Post Office to be mailed to her Tampa Campaign Headquarters . .
I have no regrets,
even after reading the article at the start of this thread !

I have have spread the word of her campaign over the AOL chatrooms and some message boards, as well as this forum here on FreeRepublic over the course of the past five months . .

If called to do so, I will continue - - -
But if Katherine Harris reads this posting, I hope she will seriously reconsider her options before going any further .

Climbing out on a limb..but there is always the possibility that if she stays in late..as she is of course allowed to do, and then at the last minute seems NOT to be getting any traction, well, maybe ole Jeb will jump in at the last second..heeding the pleas of Florida Republicans..indeed..if one were of a Machiavellian mindset, one could almost say this was a perfect strategery..
