For your viewing pleasure, a representative sample of the downright mean perspective the MSM tries to portray for Judge Alito and our President.
What??? A positive one?!?!?
I knew it wouldn't last long...
Even worse than "Mostly white guys...mostly conservative guys"...

Some people suggest that there is bias in the media...where do they get that idea?
Look at the vitriolic hatred shown here.

The cartoon index is full of solid socialists. At ultra liberal papers they pick ultra liberal editors and cartoonists.
There are one or two left out there that are sane, but they are the exception that proves the rule.
I like the black Monday cartoons where the socialists are upset that no one wants them.

Liberals are always screaming about
The Children, we have to do this or that for
The Children. That is unless mommy wants to kill the child before it can be born, then liberals say "Sorry Kid!".

Thanks for assembling these. They are a disgusting lot, but worth looking at.

FWIW, Cagle is one of the main sources for my daily cartoon threads. However, I tend to avoid many like those in this post.

Who cares about the editorial cartoons. As long as we get conservative justices, they can scrawl whatever they want.

I'm looking forward to the day when 80 year old John Paul Stevens announces his retirement and Bush nominates Ted Olsen. You mean 85, soon to be 86 year old Stevens? You're right on the first point - no way can he go three more years. I think you're wrong on the second though, IIRC, Olsen is on the wrong side of 60.

Alito looks like he'll be sitting on the SCOTUS by the end of the month because all the liberal MSM and 'Rats have are the typical lies and hysteria.
But THIS time too many of us are paying attention and know the truth.

Especially note the caricature of Bush, looking like a monkey with baboon-ish ears, in the first cartoon; also the image of the pro-choice woman, a bascially normal-looking pretty blonde.

"You mean 85, soon to be 86 year old Stevens? You're right on the first point - no way can he go three more years. I think you're wrong on the second though, IIRC, Olsen is on the wrong side of 60." Yup. You and I think alike. The real fireworks will happen in 2007 or 2008 when Stevens kicks the buckets and Bush goes for broke. But he will not nominate Olsen but hopefully Janice Rogers Brown or Priscilla Owen. Then the Dems will be completely apoplectic because the lineup on the SCOTUS will be:
Roberts -- solid conservative
Scalia -- solid conservative
Thomas -- solid conservative
Alito -- solid conservative
[Stevens replacement] -- solid conservative
Kennedy -- leans conservative but swing vote
Ginsburg -- predictably leftist
Souter -- predictably leftist
Breyer -- predictably leftist

Don't forget Ginsburg's had cancer. Her health may well take her off the Court while Bush is still in office. Not to illwish her, of course.

I've noticed the pronounced far-left slant to editorial cartoons over the years. But of course there's no liberal bias. (loud guffaw)
