Hearing that chorus from the gallery-or the committe itself, I can't figure out which, since I'm not watching the proceedings-was kind of funny.

Leahy uttered a very sarcastic "Awwwww" upon hearing the story that Judge Aldisert swore Orrin Hatch in as a lawyer, and presided over his first case, which he won. He added, speaking to Orrin, "I didn't know you won one." Specter stepped in with the observation that Hatch and Leahy have always had this sort of relationship.

BTW, Hatch's tie is really cool.

By the way, did you see that when Leahy said "Awwww" everybody but Teddy laughed. Teddy just kept looking sourly down at his notes.
